    [h=1]Challa - Song - Jab Tak Hai Jaan[/h]

    The intro riff goes as per actual version:

    B --------4------------
    G -----3-------5-5-5-
    D ---5-----------------

    B -------4------------
    G --3-5------5-5-5-
    D --------------------

    B ------------------------------
    G -3-5-5s7---3-3---3-------
    D -------------------6-----6-5

    Chords used: Cm Fm A#M D#M G#M GM

    Strumming pattern:

    1---3--&5&6-7-8&
    d---D--udud-D-du

    h=hammer
    p=pull off
    s = slide
    b = bend

    Strumming pattern:
    (strokes in Bold need be played harder than other strokes.
    Similarly strokes in lower case such as d [down] are light strokes and uppercase D are strong getting more emphasis)

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    However, to make it easy transpose it one and a half step down ..
    so now chords sequence will be

    Am Dm FM CM GM EM

    Check for the variation of chords and strumming pattern and the usage of C minor chord once in the song...

    Intro Riff now:

    B -------1------------
    G -----0------3-3-3-
    D ---2-----------------

    Am

    B -------1------------
    G --0-2------3-3-3-
    D --------------------

    Dm

    B ------------------------------
    G -0-2-2s4---0-0-----0-------
    D -----------------3-----3-2

    GM EM

    CHORDS:

    Opening intro chord Dm (strum 4 times 1&2-3&4-5&6-7&8) (duD-duD-duD-duD-)
    Then comes the above riff, and chords with this riff are
    Am.... Dm.... GM..... EM

    Dm FM... CM... GM
    Challa ki labh daa phirey

    Dm FM
    Challa kee labh daa phirey

    CM GM

    yes , it's sound quite same .

  11. These are the exact notes, i do wish to modify them with arti1909's permission.
    The reason for this modified version is that the way i re-type these tabs, it is going to be a lot more easier to play for beginners.
    Basically what i intend to do is to play the notes in D string on the G string.
    It is common knowledge that the 5th and 6th frets of D string correspond to the free string and first fret of G string respectively.

    So, here are the tabs:

    B --------4----------
    G ----0-3----5-5-5---

    B -------4------------
    G --3-5------5-5-5----

    B ------------------------------
    G -3-5-5s7---3-3---3-1---1-0--

    Regards,
    Abhay
