it was fun reading what each of you like... but please give us a bit more of the lowdown... like whats a jhal-mudi and how's it made, how much for a plate etc. more details and lowdowns pls !!
jhal mudi...well mudi or 'puffed rice' is added to onions, cucumbers, tomatos etc then bhujia, salt and spices. they may even put peanuts and stuff in then its mixed together et voila! thats the general idea oooo but has anyone in kol eaten the jhal mudi in bagdhi market? its got some sort of red chilli sauce in....it looks sooooooo tempting but evil mum wont let me have any while she eats away!! ooo and in kol anyone like kati rolls?
kati rolls....u can buy them on park street in kol they near some big 5 star hotel which has a disc opposite....i cant remember the name but yeh. kati rolls are yum! they can have different fillings like paneer, egg which is mixed with vegetables and various sauces and wrapped in tortilla like wrap! very nice! filling and warm! @subhro --what do you mean?! :S
do these kati rolls come for 15-20 bucks or lesser? cos if ythey are < 20 then they shouldnt count as street grub i want a paneer kati roll after my jhal muri and before my phuchka.
