    i've got two queries

1.the D string on my acoustic has a buzzing sound when played open!!

any suggestion how to get it back to the normal open D sound??

i've tried loosening the string n tuned that back but the buzzing sound is still there....

    2. i want to get a pick up for my acoustic so that i can connect that to an ampli(or a hi fi system?)
    sth like

    or like https://www.amazon.com/Acoustic-Guitar-Soundhole-Pickup-Pick/dp/B000EVD3QS

how much will that cost? ie i want an average quality one ... any suggestions?

u need to heighten your bridge.... the way u do that is....
    1. the screws which u see near ur bridge??
    2. well tighten them..
    3. be careful not to over do it....

the pickups which u want might be a little expensive... but u get a average on at 350 to 400 bucks....

Did the buzzing occur after you completely loosened the string and then re-tuned it?
If yes, then tighten the string to any realtive tuning and then after say every 15 mins. try to bring it closer to the std. tuning. If the buzzing exists try tuning it a bit higher than the std. tuning and then bring it back..works.

However,if the buzzing occured before completely loosening the string, you'll have to increase the height of the bridge..

I think the bridge raising should do it.

    On an acoustic? Good luck.

    Change your string gauge.

My bad, I was talking about raising the action. Just get a screwdrive and loosen those screws.

In my defense, I wasn't wrong though.
