    Hey guys,

I am planning to buy and then to learn guitar as such i have no experience in playing guitar but i love listening to the music generated by the guitar so want to learn guitar now....

I am totally new so need help on buying guitar shall i go for acoustic or electric, (I think acoustic will be better ), Please suggest also which one to buy

I can't join any music classes but surely can devote some time to learn, will it be possible to learn from internet or books

    Thanks

You can go for whichever guitar you want
    Acoustic (Cheaper)
Electric...(costlier) cause you have to buy a practice amp..and a processor if you want effects.

    I'm self taught,you can learn quite well from internet..try using guitar.about.com :)
    very cool site.

Yeah. Get yourself a low end acoustic guitar (Granada,Hobner) usually ~2.5k and start off with the basics.
Be patient and practice, you'll do just fine! ;)
