    Hi,

I have an old Yamaha Pacifica currently. Thinking about buying a new one. Can you please tell which one is better for playing metal?- Ibanez or Fender? Budget is 20k max.

    Thanks.

    alpha1 I BLUES!

    None.
If it is the style you are talking about - its all in you.

If its the tone that you are looking out for - the amp / pedal / processor plays more important role.

ibanez or fender! they are guitars,. get a guitar which is good and you like the most.,
wats on your fingers, style and wat processors you have.. they give the sound! the real metal! ;-)

20K budget is good! you can plan for getting any Ibanez GIO series and a good Digitech Processor!

i have a basic kramer focus model and digitech rp90! mostly i use IK Multimedia's Amplitude its a pc based amp software (i use for recording too) and i get heavy metal, rock, clean anything .. Rock on
