Buying a Guitar? Which one!

hi there,

Well firstly I have no ideas about guitar at all.

I always wanted to play one I recently downloaded GarageBand guitar tutorials on my MacBook. So wanted to buy a guitar to learn.
My basic requirement is learning. So I was looking for a rather basic guitar not very hifi...
I saw a few on Bajaao.com, but I really don't knw which brand to buy what kinda to buy??? So before going to the market, can anyone here guide me wht to look for ..

go to a good music shop and ask for a basic guitar... it would cost you around Rs.2500/-

 

Why not learn on a good guitar? You can pick up a decently good acoustic for about 8-10k I think.

 

yeah, if u can invest that much, its always gud to pikup a better guitar... tll the budget...
