    Hi Jay, You Rock man.. I like your work a lot. I had a chance to download the mp3 before you took it down and it sounds amazing.

    I have one request though. Could you also include how the chords should be played in your posts? Like

    C#m - { 9 9 9 11 11 9 } or is it { 0 2 1 2 0 0 }
    G#m7 - { 4 4 4 4 6 4 }
    Am7 - { 5 5 5 5 7 5 }
    B - { 7 7 8 9 9 7 }

    Since I'm just beginning it took me time to figure out how the chords should be played. I still can't play the song right but I'm getting the hang of it. It would be great if you could include a small legend about the chords should be played in the songs that you tab.

    BTW, the only part I've been able to play well is the tune that is played

    e ---8--7--5h7p5--5-7----

    e ---8--7--5h7p5--5-7----

    e ---12--10--8h10p8--8-10----

    e ---12--10--8h10p8--8-10----

    Is that correct ??

    i saw the video
    this is how rabbi playes..

    C#m -- G#mslide to A

    last iteration alide from C#m to B down

    he plays the lead in the chord position.. i tried it and got it.
    watch the video.. there is one place where its clearly seen.

    Yeah..actually thats what i tried to do..i was tinkering with the chords u supplied and came up with this ..most of it is by holding down the chords and playing those 2 strings..but what about the part on the 9th fret...I mean wht does Rabbi play there?This is much easier for the sliding I guess...

    Also..what rabbi does in the video need not be what was actually played in the studio! :p:

  17. jayswami

    jayswami Blue J

    this is how i have been playing lately

    1st and second iteration
    C#m(4th fret) G#m(4th fret) A(5th fret)->B(7th)->A(5t) A(5th)->B(7th)

    3rd iteration

    C#m(9th fret) B(7th fret) A(5)->B(7)<-A(5) A(5)->B(7)

    4th iteration
    C#m(9th) B(7) A(5)->B(7)<-A(5) C#m(4th fret)<-B(2nd fret)

    make sense?

  18. nebuchadnezzar

    nebuchadnezzar G34r G33k

    Obviously it makes sense......the chords u have given and my tabs match exactly..hmmm..ya it din occur to me to check out C#m on the 9th fret..but got it correctly anywayz by experimenting :p:....what i am saying is that I find it easier to slide around without the barring...I get a much cleaner sound when jus playing those 2 strings.......

    edit : Well they dont match exactly..but still.. I guess I was playing A(open) and B on 2nd fret...doesnt matter... chords are the same....

    chords for last stanza

    lovely chords, man, but i guess u didn't give the chords for the last stanza which goes as follows:

    na maen moosa na pharaun
    na maen jaagan na vich saun
    na maen aatish na maen paun
    na maen rehnda vich naduan
    na maen baitthan na vich bhaun
    bulla shaakana hai kaun

    cud u also post the chords for this last stanza...i guess they are a little diffferent, in the sense that u need to use an E and A, i think....do post the actual chords....its really a beautiful piece of work by Jay!! hat off to ur talent, man!!
