i was shocked by wut i got somedays ago..............i drove my processor wid tht pedal.

i made my metallica patch bank jus wow!!!

got tht same cutting edgy-but-heavy patch. and got huggggggggge sustain.:grin: so tht slash lead patch which had no sustain got almost slsh's sustain. or more

 

Chintan: you are correct, one can never sound like Van Halen
BUT, one can try to get his guitar/amp tone.

Its no crime.


Lefty: nice you experimented. But distortion on top of distortion will just sound plain muddy.
There wont be any clarity of notes.
You may however try putting overdrive (or weak distortion) on processor, and your stranger stomp box also on slight gain + full level.
That will not make your sound muddy + add huge sustain.
