Bombay trains are scary. Bombay rain though....<3 www.myspace.com/blackstratblues For a brief period a month ago, I was thinking of getting into Advertising. I'd at least have assured you pleasant jingles (if not very catchy).
[bjr voice]Where were you...[/voice] What about the new movie songs with some incessant shredding going on?
aww, you remember! <3 a lot of the shredding tends to be more of the interlude than a part of the song. It always makes me wonder whether there was a break in song and dance when the hero suddenly stepped on stage and everyone stared in awe as he broke loose. This is just from random radio hearing though. I loved the Raymonds ad where they're playing "Aj kal tere mere pyaar ke charche". That is probably the pinnacle of music in ads right now. That and one Airtel ad where they showed different emotions with a wind instrument playing in the background which later broke into the airtel theme.
dude. i think im losing it. Im actually beginning to miss my trips to india.. all that nonsense indian ads fill your head with-(no connection to the product, mind you) .. and the freakin catchy tunes.. sniff.
Instead of me moving to chicago, maybe you can take in Calcutta. I'll take you to all dirtiest shops with the tastiest sweets. My treat <3
