Not a shimmering light, not a soul that stirs.
Hope shines through but soon disappears.
I wander, in search of a familiar face.
But darkness is all that there is over here.

When faces turn away with cold indifference,
I still trod on, it's just a li'l more distance
Until I meet this dark cloud's silver line
The only one in this town who is mine.

This place may be heartless but my heart stays here.
The one who says that to her I'm dear.
And so I thought, and so were my dreams.
Dreams never come true, or so it now seems.

As the light goes out, the loneliness is back.
Uninvited I feel, and my world turns black.
Searching for my loved one, my eyes turn sore.
Shattered, I realise, my loved one is lovin' no more ...

    Any feedback?

    - Raj.

What do you mean, dude ... if you are accusing me of plagiarization, then I swear I'll leave the site if you can prove it

Coz I wrote it myself day before yesterday. And I don't think anyone else would have copied the poem from me and posted it elsewhere :p:

    Rofl ...

    Maverick, thanks
