my best songs of the year i really like the whole swades album... but i chose 1 song from every movie soundtrack i liked. 1>yeh jo des hai mera-swades every song in swades is tough to learn mainly because the chords cool complex but different each time a melody repeats.. so u cannot do a for I = 1 to 3 for 3 antaras.. if its a 7 minute song.. u gotta concentrate and learn the whole damn 7 minutes. I like the theme song and music from swades.. because I can see its a good mix of live music and loops, and he has looped live samples too.. like the shahnai.. i like the mild antares cher effect on rahman's voice even though i kinda dislike the concept.. i like it on this particular song.. But i also wonder.. if it is actually badly done pitch correction, .. knowing rahman probably not.. 2> nenjam yellam(baadal jo aaye) - aayutha ezuthu(yuva) I always wanted a typewriter percussion song after mukka muqabla.. rahman did it after a long time. 3> boom boom - boys I will quote madhura here.. "what a cute composition" it really is.. 5 stars to adnan sami for singing so well in tamil *************4> spiderman spiderman from New.. man is simran ***y or what *********edited out.. new #4 : 4> Bulla Ki Jaana - Rabbi Shergill : 5> rabba - musafir Musafir is the latest fav bollywood soundtrack of mine.. totally desi strip club music.. indo-persian mortal kombat. I like rabba as it reminds me of kalyanji anandji compos from the qurbani time period. so my list has 4 rahman songs and 2 adnan sami songs singing in tamil :shock:

Umm.. Morning Raga = a "crossover" film... Shabana Azmi (???) is a carnatic singer... she collaborates with Perizaad Zorabian's (SHE's HOT) band which include a keys, bassist & a drummer... while Peri herself adds on backing vocals... (Dats in the movie) Pretty Ohk sounds
