Musically, i think 2005 was a great year. So whats your favourite song (no, i dont want to see massive lists)

Mine would be Catch 33 by Meshuggah. :headbang: (whats a musical forum without a proper headbanging smiley?) A lot of songs by bands like opeth, nile, cryptopsy and dream theater are great but i think Catch 33 tops em all. (thats an opinion you see)

Well, i got into it recently. Train Of thought got me into it. And i really like Six degrees......., train of thought and the new one. And i think you should have known that i listen to them from the first post :p:
But i really hate the fact that:
Dream theater came here in october: I started liking them about a week after they came (didnt go there)
Nile and behemoth came here in september: I started liking them a few days after they came (didnt go there)
Meshuggah came here in the begining of June: I got into them about a month later (and didnt go there either)
Same with porcupine tree (november 23rd)

    IMAGINE THE PAIN!!!!!

Atleast i got to be happy that opeth came "in time"

Yesh. Its a whole album. You will like it if youre familiar with their style. And it took me about 2 months to get used to them. It also took me about 15-20 listens (this megasong) for me to have a positive opinion on it. But now, i'm really addicted to it and cant love it more.

Out of the whole song, try the bit called "Minds Mirrors", if you have an open mind (i think you do), you will like it.
