Best instructional video

    I am not sure if this has been done before ... but i would really like to know which video you guys would rate as the best instructional video ...

    I have a few on my comp ... like :

    John Petrucci - Rock Discipline
    Eric Johnson - Fine Art of Guitar
    Yngwie Malmsteen - blues lesson

    However my favourite is John Petrucci's Rock Discipline ...

    john petruccis rock discipline gets a lil borin..
    though really good pointers in there...
    i ve seen eric johnsons total electric guitar which is also cool..
    ive got malmsteens total shred
    and young guitar basics..which is not all that great ...though the stuff he has played is cool..
    so guess petruccis video wins coz he has taught somethin like how a teacher would to a student..

    yeah i agree ... btw have u seen videos of some guys like zakk wylde and adrian smith ... adrian smith talks some sense ... but zakk wylde i think is a major showoff ... so it gets on your nerves a bit after watching for a while ...

    i have seen the adrian smith guitar.com instructional..
    and true he really does give some great pointers..
    havent seen zakk wyldes video..but i know what u mean..
    thoough i feel hes a monster player..he may tend to go really overboard..
    oh and yeah...this is dimebag..i changed my id..
    was gettin bored with it..

    THe Adrian Smith one is for beginners.. Not for us.. We at IGT have passes that stage..

    I think the biggest show-off when it came to "instructional" videos would , however, have to be Yngwie Malmsteen- Arpeggios from Hell ...
    you would have to see the video to understand what i mean ....

    LOL I meant that.. IGT without doubt with get you from that Stage.. i'm proud of IGT and this is what happens.. The intermediate ones like marty Friedman Tutorials are all Amazing..

    @6string ... oops ... I think u r right ... my mistake ... he had just said that he had composed that piece ony for the "video" ... and not for this "instructional" video ... :)

    @everone....yeah adrain smith video is really for beginers where he teaches some warm up exercises...high picking and other things.

    i have also a video of mike enziner of incubus...teaching differenct chords which have kinda same notes different they are placed in different frets ...and other interesting points now how he use to create his very own chord which wud sound amazing...and he also demonstrates to perform a song called "stellar"...ppl says its a very tough one to play!

    also gotta video of system of a down band lead guitarist...daron malakian...he has an ibanez iceman guitars....talks abt how is does the song writing thing and composing, also talks abt his childhood and wat he use to practise to be a good guitarist.

    @ FR :- How come you shain you need to check out SOAD and you have Darons Instructional Vid??
