Chandra is my favourite bassist, kintu Bubun is not upto the mark. Arup aar Rajsekhor er combination bhalo, kintu Rajsekhor paddist bole oke vote deowar ichha nei. My vote goes to Gabu and Sanket. Oder coordination really daarun. Howao uchit. Dujone chhototbela thekei eksathe baajai. They are, as far as I know, the surviving members of the original Lakkhichhara.

chandra's bass rocks ... but bubun's not dat gud ... specially recent live performance gulote oke ekdom bhalo lageni aamar ...

bhoomi-r shoumitra-r drums amar khub bhalo lage ... kintu abhijeet i guess is not upto d mark ...

no comments on paddists ... altho cactus ekhon drums use korchhe ...

yes i agree with debankan. ar jibon chaichhe aro beshi album er niruddeshe gan tar bass solo ta parle shuno. in fact puro gan tai oshadharon bajiyechhe.

....dadara ekta kotha boli, bubunda r gabu da dujon ekebarei alada type of drummers, ...........bubunda critical jinish bajanote(open hi hats, old time signatures etc. ) expert chhele, seta amra BICYCLE CHOR e dekhte pai, pad theke drums er change ta byapok bhabhei korechhe......

...whereas.. gabu is totally a rock drummer(double bass, classic rolls etc. )...jeta KE KI BOLE bah GHURE PHIRE dekhte pawa jaay....no offence meant...but gabuda puro MIKE PORTNOY theke inspired, oder TELEPHONE gaaner drums play tao,.....

...amar bolar karon ei...je gabuda'r style of drumming amra aageo dekhechhi, but bubun is more innovatibe to me :rock: , bajna niye experiment kore....ek type er bajna noy, diff in diff songs ..........but this is totally my own view.

sorry boss mante parlam na. bubun ekhono stage e uthe tal kate. with all due respect to him. ar gabur type er bajna agey kon drummer theke amra kolkatay shunechhi? ektu bolte paro? u might like chandra that's a different thing because he is really good.kintu bubun khub technically weak drummer.fossils er weak point o.

 

then again it ur view. who am i to tell u anything. shudhu ektu odbhut laglo bhebe je gabur bajna amra oneker theke dekhte pai. tahole i guess or bajna lokjon er bishesh bhalo lagto na.

....first of all kolkatar kono drummer er sathe ami gabudar tulona korini, seta nishchoi dekhtei peyechho......kolkatay gabuda trend setter.....gabudar type of drumming 80's and 90's er praaye shob drummer er style er moton.....thats what i notified......kolkatay onek underground drummer achhe jara utchhe....kotar bishoye amra jaani......

.....secondly bhool bujhle....ami ek baro bolini bubun is better than gabu ......prothomei to bollam je oder dujoner modhdhe tulona hoy na.....

Aami hacker x er sathe onektai agree kori. Bubun aar Gabu sotti i onektai different. Bubun Gabbu'r theke better noy, kintu o je off beat drumming ta attempt kore seta khubi difficult. Gabbu ota baajale Gabbu'r o je taal kaatbe na bola muskil. Lakkhichhara stright beat er drumming use kore, Gabbu tate improvise kore, improvisation gulo prochondo difficult kintu taal kaatar sombhabona kom. Tobe Bubun ke onek loker aaro weak laagar kaaron hochhe je Fossils er aager drummer Stefen aaro marattok chhilo. O ekhono Kolkatai thakle Gabbu'r ekta jordaar competitor hoto.
