No, Zoom 707 is not compatible with bass. Believe me . I had tried with 3 different lead processors and it hadn't worked. So I had to buy a bass processor. I own a 708II. The market price of 708II is around 8500. Within that budget you will also get Digitech BP80(around 8000), BP50(around 6000). Also there are Zoom 506II(around 5000), 607(around 6000).
