I think Ibanez made great basses for beginners...or if you can try and get an ESP LTD F 205, I owned one of these because I was a huge Steve Digiorgio fan, and that model was the only stock model he owned and used. They're discontinued but if you can find them, they aren't that pricey. Once you find the bass of your liking, stop listening to shitty music and faithfully worship the following names -Alex Webster -Steve Digiorgio -Erlend Caspersen -Alex Webster -Stefan Fimmers -Eric Langlois and Alex Webster.
