    ONly practice man!

    well,,,

    E major chord

    E - 0
    B - 0
    G - 1
    D - 2
    A - 2
    E - 0

    F major chord

    E - 1
    B - 1
    G - 3
    D - 2
    A - 2
    E - 1

    F # major chord

    E - 2
    B - 2
    G - 3
    D - 4
    A - 4
    E - 2

    So look at the rule
    +1 fret barre position = 1 Note

    So A major chord (F, F#, G, Ab and then A(diff of 5))

    E - 5
    B - 5
    G - 6
    D - 7
    A - 7
    E - 5

SO thats the rule of E-Shaped Barre chord another is the A-Shaped barre Chords with the same rule like...

    A major (open):

    E - 0
    B - 2
    G - 2
    D - 2
    A - 0
    E - 0

    Bb major :

    E - 1
    B - 3
    G - 3
    D - 3
    A - 1
    E - 1

    C Major :

    E - 3
    B - 5
    G - 5
    D - 5
    A - 3
    E - 3

Thats it! U master the theory and to have a smooth change in chords U need to have a gr8 deal of Practice!
