banning smking hsnt done anything..anywhere..
it jst really depends on each individual and their self-confidence. media influences..big time..but you cant blame them-they gotta job..if smking is jst one of the promo's then be it. but its ur duty to overlook that aspect.

kids/people are gnna smoke..regardless. are gonna get pressurized..regardless.

conclusion: banning smoking is a sh*tty idea.

I have seen many KIDS (around 10-15 yrs old), who start smoking. The reason?
Adults do it.
Filmstars do it and look ultra-cool. ("Hero ke mafik")

Tell me, isn't this influencial?


But yeah, ban on depicting smoking in movies aint gonna help, coz "Adults do it" is a bigger reason than "Filmstars do it"

@sanju, aye, the system has self perpetrated so much so that a major chunk of the world economy rests on the tobacco industry. And sadly enough it's also self perpetuating, the industry will never be banned, people will keep smoking, new people will take up smoking and the deaths continue. Aye this is the time i wish for a time machine to go murder the faggot who invented the cigarette or it's derivatives thereof.

The tabacco cmpany is just soo darn big dude. Theyd rather drop dead than to allow the govt to sht down. Millions f billions of trillions of people out there are addicted to smoking...even if the gvt did manage to get a law passed i doubt an action like this is going to be in play for long...think about realistically.
