    Dont go for Zoom606.

707 Better and only at marginally higher price.
Infact I think Dennis used to have Zoom 606.

He will be teh best judge.

BTW this thread should be guitar gear section.

I think one of the best distortion pedals out there, if ya got money, is the Digitech GenEx II, III or IV. Whichever one you can afford. Can do AMAZING distortions. But beware, its damn complex.

I think you do mean a GNX? The distortion isnt TOO impressive, but then that's usually the case with effects processors, better than most i guess....

    Yeah correct.
It is said taht only two processors have convinvcing tone: POD and Vox.

Otherwise it is the analog pedals.

I know this is oFF TOPIC
    but

what exactly is the difference between a SUPER OVERDRIVE, OVERDRIVE,DISTORTION AND SUPER DISTROTION.basically
the difference between overdrive and distortion

Ok I attemp to clarify your doubts a little:

Overdrive is nothing but slgiht distortion of wave.
When the distortion is higher it is called distortion (duh!)

This is caused because of the oversaturation of the circuit.

Fuzz is when the wave is clipped. This produces a buzzing tone.

Strictly speaking, most of the "overdrive" pedals you see are weak fuzz circuits.
And most of the distortion pedals are overdrive/distortion circuits.

If you wanna know in more detail then tell me.
