avions vs epiphones, you know anything?

i've two polls

greg bennett av3 vs. epiphone lp special II

and

greg bennett av6 vs. epiphone lp standard

for classic rock n' roll, classic rock, blues-rock

which one(when wired to "laney lc15") will take me nearest to sound for above genres

(please compare on the basis of sound (not cost))

Haven't tried the Greg Bennetts but have tried the Gibson/Baldwin Epoch (similar to Special II - MI China, bolt on neck) and Epiphone Les Paul Std.
If cost is taken out of the picture, the Standard is a lot better in terms of sustain, low end and looks (Std has a sweet arch top).

 

Greg Bennetts any time over Epiphones. But Av6 model which is far superior to AV3

yes ofcourse AV6 is far better than AV3; but even than the "epiphone standard les paul" ? that's strange and amazing

 

Yeah i found Av6 better than the epiphone in that range in terms of tone and build quality. Lol i call them poor mans Gibson .

Actually Epiphone Les Paul Special better than Av3 . And Av6 is better than the Epiphone.
