APRIL GIRL.


The dates of April reminds me of a girl,

Who was let down by love;

Love that she thought as Life,

Which unknowingly turned into a lie.

Even though, she was in pieces,

She often sheltered her tears;

Behind those pretty smiles.

Life had let her down,

Even before seeing someone else.

Now, she hoped for no life;

And drifted apart from those lies.

You should have seen her,

For what I say is true about how she felt.

Making me fall deep in truth;

For love is deeper than we think.

The girl had wished, just for Love,

But she didn’t realise she was still a kid.

Nice effort. Sounds like some real story...!!!

The problem with modern lovers is they don't have time. & u cant give what u don't have. So Pizza love dosent wait, it walks fast to the tinder touch.. keep swiping really not able to understand if it was love ever. May be I'm old fashioned, may be I am old but know and have waited for the taste.

Maybe Love is something we shall never understand as a ambitious human being.

 

Its not about ambition, its about the environment. Everything at machine speed. Emotions take time.

 

I really liked how it starts...almost fable-like.

And 'making me fall deep in truth' is a line that really took me somewhere. Probably because it holds a lot of significance in my life currently, coincidentally.
I just wish you'd taken me deeper into this piece.

 

It's wonderful...Love is a complex set of emotions...

 

Love is full of happiness and compassion, that is the message.
