Anyone here who likes fingerpicking..?

    Hi all.. pro and aspiring guitarists.. Fingerpicking lovers here..? any..? :)

    personally i love fingerpicking ..i started late but it was quite easy to pick up and now in a year i'm semi-pro at it :)

    the mellow sound which you get through the fingers just can't be replicated by the pick.

    I havent learnt picking yet :(

    But i hardly evr use a pick anyway.. I use my fingers to strum and thump..

    @morbid : truly.. It's quite feely.. and the best connection with your guitar in ten fingers... I started to fingerpick cuz I always had my picks lost somewhere.. :) now I'm quite addicted cuz you can do somany things when you use your fingers which can be never ever done with a pick.. I use pick only while playin metal.. :)

    i'm just opposite....i only play chords with finger-picking...(actually i don't know finger picking other than this :))
    but i'm learning it :p:

    yes sir i like finger picking very much.
    thats becuase i started playing and making classical guitars.
    really wonderful

    @rwaghmare..

    am not able to get anybody to teach my son classical guitar. he is appearing for grade 2 trinity in aug.. just moved to mumbai. do you have anybody in mind? pls help

    I love fingerpicing...its fast, and much sweeter...the fingers make a better softer sound than a pick..and has many advantages too..
