any good lead to practise....

hey guys....i wanna improve mah lead..plz suggest ne good songs wid sum nice lead to start wid...thnkx...if u can plz gimme a list of songs dat i shud try and play..

 

There are lots of songs that have good leads but it really depends on how much u can play them. If u don't have any problems with guitar techniques like hammer ons and pull offs and u can try the folllowing english songs:
1. Hotel California (Eagles)
2. Fade to Black (Metallica)
3. Layla (Eric Clapton)
4. Nothing Else Matters (Metallica)
5. Always With U Always With Me (Joe Satriani)

There are lots of songs which u can try. It can be any song u like. Don't be worried just by hearing the song that it's too tough for u. Noting is impossible. Try and practice as much as u can and who knows in a couple of weeks u may be playing Malmsteen's solos.

 

Acutally, it depends on wut ur lookin for, if ur aimin for extreme harmony, i'd say go for the OLD metallica songs and almost all of the iron maiden songs have harmonizing.

If you are more of a beginner and have not much speed, I'll suggest you should look for Floyd numbers.

If ya have trouble performing pull-offs, try the Metallica - Wherever I may Roam Solo. Oh yeah and if ya get the time learn Tender Surrender by Steve Vai

 

hey thnkx mann...acha guys temme which waas da first song dat u did..which obv had good lead solo....

 

for lead playin..one needs good timin ..so always start off with slow solos becuz if u start wit fast ones ..u may miss a beat here and dere and in the end thre solo will sound bad..
start of with solos like

californication - RHCP
all of the solos in american idiot by green day .
hero - chad kroger
smells like teen spirit - nirvanan
gettin so many solos down rite wil take time ..but they wil prepare you for faster solos ..afat playin this ..attempt solos like hotel cal and fade to black ..and remember to start learnin al these solos slow ...clarity is more important den speed

The first english solo I played was Fade to Black intro lead. It's really an awesome piece of compostition by Kirk.

 

True, same here, i played the lead as well. Actually the rhythms of that song are quite nice as well...
