Metallica was the first thrash metal band I actually listened to... without doubt, to most others, it's the same case. However, unlike others, I heard Seek and Destroy first, and then the Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets albums... I can still, till today, listen to any of the songs from these albums at any time, though not 24/7... As for And Justice, too bad the production sucks, it's a really good album, especially To Live is To Die... GnR, I dunno why, but I've never really liked them...
And Justice For All production sucks big time. Individually the album has good numbers but as a package it lacks. There's not much of variety. I even felt the recording is screwed up. The drums were recorded very bad. The drums sounds on MOP, Ride The Lighting were far better.
