@vinay n wizard - thanx ! @vinay - karuna i only used for accoutics .......for electric .....karuna strings are as gud as accoustic ones......i think i will check out granada!
I thinks Granada too only acoustics... Why not try some D'Addarios??? Wait up a while and I'll get ya the ame of these strings my friend uses... fukin never broke till say 2 years... That maybe 'cuz he never played major solos... rhythms!
^^^never broke may be coz he wudnt have tuned it after the first time ..........or it might have got rusted by now!...........does anyone know where in mumbai can i get DR strings??.....its the strings which warren uses!
which strings would be good for my nylon stringed guitar. The current make is granada. Would putting better branded strings like DD, Gibson actually help in better tone. Regards, Dhimant
Try GB&a or Pearl. They are about Rs.150 a pack and are decent. I prefer GB&a strings. They are pretty neat. Even D'Addarios are only Rs.270 in Bangalore. If you want only cheap, then Karuna is the only choice. They are really cheap in price, quality and sound.
i wont prefer karuna since their lifespan is very shot and they get rusted and worn out very quickly depending how often you play guitar. I have heard GB&a strings are good. By the way, do you guys know GB&a is the product of Bhargavas, Mumbai. However, the acoustic guitars are made in China. I dunno about the strings.
I agree...i stay really close to the sea and my strings turn Black(!!) every two months...partly due to the polluion too :
@pyaari jawaani / vinay / ronnie - sp what strings do i go for which is good quality good lifespan and cheap as well!??!
D'Addario. Suits India climate too. It last pretty long without rusting or oxidizing. You play it and clean it and then it will last really long. It cost about Rs.270 in Bangalore.
