    ^Yes, they paid those ppl to use their format.

    Just like American Idol bought the rights to the format frm the UK show Pop Idol.

    yup..

    it is based on the same FORMAT...which was originally made by the creators of American Idol.
    The format is properly licensed.

    Same is KBC (original format "who wants to be a millionaire") and Deal ya no Deal (original format "Deal or no deal")
