Hello Sathish, If you need help, please be specific about your problem. Like what difficulty are you facing while playing chords ? Regards, Al Ameen
Dear Sathish, Perfect chord changes needs a little bit of practice. Here is what you can do. 1. If you are playing a chord, say "C major chord"; and you may want to shift it to "A minor chord" in a progression, place your fingers on the frets which is common to both the chords while shifting your chords, ie., To shift from C to Am chord (open chords), you need to take your ring from the third fret of your fifth string to second fret of the third string, keeping your index & middle finger in the same position. (so less effort needed) 2. Practice chord progressions rather than simply different chord forms. ex: C Am F G, G Em C D, etc 3. For Bar chords, you need little bit of finger strength if you are a beginner, and you can do some finger strengthening exercises for that. So no worries To mute the sound of a chord or a simple note, you can either use your palm of your right hand or your left hand itself once you played that chord or note. Hope it helps Regards, Al Ameen
