You mean GiBson or GiVson? I've seen some Tansen guitars in Chennai that were pretty good. And money could certainly buy them, and not leave u a pauper.

giBson beats all the guitars mentioned, but then it costs way more than any of the other guitars mentioned but then its not an Indian acoustic guitar. From what I've heard Hobner is the best one.
there is a guy who worked with fenders abroad now making custom guitars called"yahuya" they r reasonably priced and cool

jay! which indian brand is left now ?? u said all of them r bad .. heeeee Hobner ,Signature, Givson. Pro_guitar :Wht i sugest ! go to a shop with a professional or good - guitarist and then play , any one could sound better, smtime's Givson sound better than signature (i had tried that ), but for me out of these signature - mostly sounds best. Although u'll find givson mostly available on all the shops - but its not the best (its lowest in price).
I didnt say Hob and Sign are bad.. They are Kick Ass.. You are giving a Guitar Salesman advice to check out ghuitars?? LOL>.
i advicied : go to a shop with a professional or good guitarist and then play - and test guitar's, not salesman jay - howcome a salesman can check a guitar- heee
