    Which acoustic guitar do you use?

    Signature Jumbo with an inbuilt pickup.
    Rosewood Fretboard

    Sounds Ok,, probably because I have use Karuna Strings. I will put in original Gibson strings next time.

    Mine is HOBNER.... Black... acoustic...
    and it sounds just great....
    am in love with my guitar..
    who wudn't..after all thats the first thing i bought from my first salary...
    i waited for so long..so that i can buy it from my own money!!!(sigh...)

    HOBNER RULZZZZZZ...........

    Mine is a Sawdust Hobner 265.. He he.. The King of Indian Acoustic Guitars.. :rock: + D'Addrio Strings.. Sounds Bright and ROCKS..

    Strings cost somewhere around 500Rs + Txes

    Hey jay...
    in one of the threads u suggested ultra light strings for the leads...
    and somewhere else u gave the gauges also..
    am not able to find out that..
    can u give that again..
    what is the best combo of strings to play the leads on acoustic...
    also suggest whether i shud use electric or acoustic strings for all purpose..

    Ok.. Here goes the guages i prefer for leads and rhythm..
    .32 .28 .26 .14 .10 .08 ..

    Try it out once and see if you like the sound Use the Electric strings else Switch back to Acoustic strings..

    If you dont get the .08, go for .11 and .10 or .11 and .09 combination for the last two strings..

    i dont have acoustic but i had electric guitar les paul standard

    Wow....8s on a acoustic!??!

    Hmmmm...thin strings on an acoustic = less tone

    I would reccomend heavy strings on acoustics, 11-52 are pretty good, they give a bigger and better sound to them than a pack of 9s or 8s.

    they give a good tone but arn't as warm as the original vinci strings which were pre-installed but then they were so heavy(maybe .12 or .13)that my fingers looked like sausages after 1 hr practice so i got them changed.(i used peavy before, also a good buy)

    I have Probation :)
    I bought this Guitar from Bilal Maqsood of Strings.
    If anyone of you guyz have seen the Video of BOLO BOLO by Strings yup its the same guitar. :rule:

    Mine is a Larry and Carlton American Series Acoustic guitar.It's very good.
