Stop messing around with junk, it's called 'tremolo'. > 'Recuerdos de La Alhambra' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDlQE9djIxE (Hilarious intro, but that's besides the point) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIzKsNIRrV4 'La Ultima Cancion' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fos1mhddGk 'Sueno En La Floresta' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzz-MywbJlw And that, my dear 'classic rock'er, is how we have infinite sustain on acoustic guitar (which has become nothing but a poor man's instrument in this day and age and isn't a patch on what it's really capable of, thanks to the dark reign of the evil and moronic horror called 'plectrum playing') It's free, nothing to buy or upgrade, the only thing to do is work on technique. Beat it, I dare ye to xD
aah dat squeek is back again.. .. @ultrabot man john is cool... it would take 5yrs to nail dat thing..
i'm guessing attempting that on a steel string is a waste of time? those videos almost make me wish i had any technique at all. they're not bad videos, but something williams REALLY needs while playing those songs is a fuzz factory and a herbert....
Why not? "No cause is lost if but one fool is left to fight for it." xD Besides, Yngwie can play like that with his pick, surely it's possible given a few months of disciplined practice? WTF!?! Sacrilege! You'll probably figure out some way of distorting a piano when you get around to play it. Or, as they said in the older days, "You'd get a scaffolding pole distorted, you would!"
you evidently don't know me... been there, done that. still want to put my bigger plan in action - take junk piano and use it as a speaker cabinet... someday, someday.
^LOL! That's a better picture than what I thought. xD Mesa Boogie would be more suited to the thing. Personally, I was thinking of a laptop (how boringly realistic) @flood - Personally, the Sueno video needs a noise gate x-P
nah, was thinking more in terms of using a mid-fi RNG or devi ever soda meiser for distortion, perhaps with a clari(not) following it. or save myself the hassle and use VST lo-fi distortion/waveshapers. better control, but can still sound screwed up.
