A question on guitar adjustment. Hi, I have a GRG170DX and noticed an issue with my gat where it doesnt stay in tune. So I tightened the screws that hold the springs in the back of the guitar. As a result, the bridge now almost touches the body, but the guitar stays in tune much longer. Is it ok to keep it like this? I hope it wont harm the guitar. Do lemme know. Regards, Pritesh
Usually its said that you need to keep the bridge parallel to the body of the guitar. I dont think you could harm the guitar in anyway by keeping it differently, but i think it would be best if you take the guitar to a pro and have it set up right.
