    The Digitech is just ok.

Their higher ends like the GT series kick any Zoom processor's ass, but on the low end, Zoom does it better.

But then again, i tried them out in 2 completely different environments

I still say you go try them both out and see which you like.
(The zoom in your budget is built much better also.)

Ive already asked thedisciple about this but is the zoom G1X any good it has effects and the pedal .....??
And ive heard that the Rp80 sucks ...though it would come within my budget.... the zoom g2 will exceed my budget by around 0.6 k

Most of the guys there say the sound is way to artificial and if my budget was 5k would u recommend g1x or RP80?? And availablility of patches for RP80??

    wat can i say..
    my thoughts of rp80..
Honestly the built in presets r nt tat gud..but i customised them according to my needs...really like the satriani type distortion it produces.
The drum machine is a bonus.
On the other hand never tried the g1x..so cant comment.
Its obvious tat analog pedal users will find any digital proc's sound artificial..
