I'd recommend the zoom over the rp80 any day.

It's presets suck but once you tweak the sounds to your liking, it's a nice processor.

If you have the cash though, i'd still recommend individual pedals.

    Who buys zoom g1 nowadays?
    Its way to outdated.
@unet is right, the g2.1u is better than rp80.
Bt Having said tat, the g2.1u costs arnd 8k(mumb)
    whereas rp80 is arnd 5.5k.

At tat range u got these options
    1. Digitech rp50, rp70(provision to add pedal) ,rp80(pedal incld).
    2.zoom g2(provision to add pedal), g2.1u(pedal incld)
    3.korg ax30g(provision to add pedal)

soundwise: korg>zoom>digi(may differ person to person )
    customisation:zoom>digi>korg
gr8 presets available for g2 on the net..inbuilt presets on the digi suk.

Bt the thing i like the most abt digitech is the inbuilt drum machine.

Dont confuse between g2 nd 'g2.1u'
g2.1u is the one wit pedal ..i think it costs around 8k(courtesy:recession)
    plain g2 costs btwn 5-5.5 k.

btw @distorted is selling his rp80.

I believe the presets are the same.

With the expression pedal, you can use it as a volume pedal, wah pedal or a whammy.
Or an octaver (part of the whammy function i think...)

    Pretty cool to experiment with.
And the zoom fuzz is the most tremendously thick fuzz i have ever heard (Not counting Death by Audio pedals)

    I guess you can.

Go to a shop, try it out.

Also, Stranger volume pedals go for Rs.750 but are absolute crap quality.
    (build wise)

I think any generic expression pedal will work.

It's just that you wont get anythin great in 0.8k.
