    why dont you try releasing english cum hindi mix fusion kind of your accent suits english songs. I am hoping your hindi wont be bad like angrez so that may sound nice and something new coz' very few people have got good accent in both.

    I was just going thru all the covers posted here to which i havent given any reply..i wonder how come i missed it....guitar sounds beautifully in sync wid beats..i dont really think that beats are any faster than rest of the things..i think it was just perfect :shock:

    I LOOOOOVE this song. One of my Difranco faves :) I thought you did a fantastic job - did you play the guitar throughout, or play a bit and then copy and paste it? cos its a bit monotonous? Just one thing - might want to add reverb to your vocals - they'll stand out - right now they're sometimes drowned by the music. Lovely though - really lovely!

    sounds great, drums r gud, voice sounds gud, but there are a couple of places perhaps where it seems a bit out... on the whole it is very gud... reps if possible :)

    yeah, my hindi sounds fine, hmm.. maybe someday i'll try what u suggested :)

    @vini

    thanks :) when i meant faster, i meant, than the original song, u'll realise when u listen to the original or Alana Davis' version.

    @fatima

    :grin: I'm lazy, I played once n looped it :grin: Thanks though! I'll use reverb next time, or if I record this one again.

    @mr singh

    thanks a lot!

    alpha1 I BLUES!

    :shock:
    I always felt that adding any effect like reverb or chorus pushes the vocals back into the mix, rather than it cutting thru and bringing it in front.

    A touhc of reverb will enhance the volcals since most of the recording is done in a small room where the natural reverb is not good.

    But most of the ppl I have seen on IGT use far too much of reverb. And the end result is taht it seems pushed far away from the mic. And the vocals, which should ideally sound like Lead guitars, doest sound so.

    exactly. thats' why when i heard it i felt it was wonderfully "finished" and didn't need any more work. it was sounding great as it was.
