This seems reasonably correct (to my ears anyway) though I heard the song ages ago. Thank you for the chords....I've been wanting to play it for awhile but was too lazy to find the chords out myself but it's a lot easier knowing the structure and then trying to better it.

I can confirm that the song starts with a Major chord, not minor.

Thanks guys for sharing your opinion.
Moon your progression starts from 'D' and mine one from 'Bm'. Its a just matter of transpose. But if you check closely both the chords D and Bm share F# notation and which is in the tab part of this song.
So in my opinion if anybody is willing to start from Dmaj, follow moon's progression and if anybody is interested in Bm, can check this out.

D and Bm are two different chords with a different sound. Agreed that they have the relative minor relationship between them but you can't really use one in place of the other.

 

You are nuts!! :annoyed: How can anybody transpose a major to a minor chord? :shock: Even if they are relative minors. :shock:

 

Sorry guys for my mistake...What I wanted to mean this song also can be started from Bm. I am sorry for the "transpose" word. I used that in a wrong way.
And thanks to Debankan and bjr for pointing out my mistake.
It really doesn't matter to me whether it is really starting from D or Bm. I posted what I found best.
(And for that I am certainly not going to read nbody's leap.)

Major and minor chords, though they maybe relatively related, have different sounds. Play a major chord followed by a minor on ur guitar and u'll notice it. You may think ur chords are right and they really maybe right, because I think u have got the tune of the song all wrong.

Yes. The song can be started from Bm, as it is the relative minor of D. But the tune wont sound right.
