How many of you actually like heaviness in music? (wanted to know)

Here's my list (In no real order):

Meshuggah - Nothing (2002) / Chaosphere (1998) (Cant decide, both of them are heavy as hell)
Strapping You Lad - City (1997)
Dillinger Escape Plan - Calculating Infinty (2002)
Cryptopsy - None So Vile (1996)
    Pig Destroyer - Terryfier (2004)
Napalm Death - Harmony Corrpution(1990) / From Enslavement To Obliteration (1988)
Fear Factory - Concrete (1991) (i chose this over a cannibal corpse album for the heaviness)
    The Berzerker - Dissimulate (2002)
Cryptopsy - Blasphemy made Flesh (1994)
Decapitated - Organic Hallucinosis (2006) / Winds of Creation (2000) (Cant decide again)

^^ You dont sound stupid. Heaviness is usually the intensity of the album. The guitar sound also plays a big part.

Lets say, its intense music that drives you nuts

^^ Didnt you like City from SYL? I mean its basically the only one from them that i like.
The ones on your list look like theyre the heaviest you can go before you can lose the sense of tone (and become more rythmic in nature). Nice list of albums though. I like most of them (didnt check out others, but the ones i know, i like)

First of all thank you for your compliment.

I do not like Strapping Young Lad at all but I have only heard City so that was the one I recommended to you. I wasn't very impressed though as I prefer melody in the music I listen to rather than outright heaviness.
