This poem is written with the objective to make the people aware of AIDS which is a sure shot disease of death and how the person suffering from AIDS loses all the relationships of his/her near and dear ones. The person is even devoid of a little love. ********************************************************** …...….and something of darkness ************************* I was a stray dog Roaming on the streets of sorrow Where the life was a dark sky Such was the time passing by I was jaded of my jerky life Which was in a jeopardy Death was waiting for me And I for death I looked blue and pale But people mocked at me For life’s sorrow and shower I had no shelter at that hour Who made my tears flow? AIDS was he Who offered me a fatal blow What I needed then Was a little love To change my lonely life But I was deprived of What I wanted So everyone I request To be careful at his best From AIDS, from AIDS and from AIDS.
