Ding a ling a ling a ling a ling a ling a ling a ling a ling Ding a ling a ling a ling a ling here are the tabs for the lead for Rang De Basanti, I have also attached a mp3 recording of me playing this lead. Whatever instrument they are using in the song, they are getting half a tone....but this is as close as it gets on a guitar...try it out. If any of you can improve this, then please do so. e------------------------------------------------------ B---8--11--11--10--10--8--8--7--8--7--8--7--8--7--8---- e------------------------------------------------------ B---8--11--11--10--10--8--8--7--8---------------------- e------------7--8--8--8--8--8--8--7--8--7--8--7--8--7--8- B---8--10---------------------------------------------- e---8--10--8--7--8--7---------------------------------- B------------------------10--11--10--8--10--8--7--------- Doodwala
Was waiting for this. Will try once I reach home. I too believe they are using those 23 notes per Octave I read about in classical indian music
Corrections Doodwala, I tried your tabs and liked it very much. Check out the corrections below. Blue notes have been added by me and the read part are the modified notes. Code: e--------------------------------------------------------- B---8--11--11--10--10--8--8--7--7--8--7--8--7--8--7--8---- ^ High ^ Low e------------------------------------------------------ B---8--11--11--10--10--8--8--7--8---------------------- ^ High e------------7--8--8--8--8--8--8--7--8--7--8--7--8--7--8--7- B---8--10--------------------------------------------------- e---8--10--8--7--8--7---------------------------------- B------------------------10--11--10--7--10--7--7--8------- ^ Low, can use 6 I have annotated the above tabs with High & Low. A High means that in the original tune this note is between the n & n+1 th fret on the guitar and hence cannot be played. A close approximation is playing n twice. Same goes for notes marked Low. Try it out folks.
hey friends...im like the newest member here....i dnt play guitar....i play piano...as i cant find piano tabs anywhere...im actually converting guitar tabs....so for that i need guitar tabs which shows the strings i mean the "e b g a d e" befor the start of each line.....can anyone help me with it....i would be glad to take anysong which you have....
In this thread the B & e are the strings 2 and 1. They are the 2 strings highlighted in bold - EADGBE
Because the rest 4 strings were unused and since I did not start the post but only suggested corrections, left the notation of the thread initiator.
