This is one of the gems of Eswari. Very husky and peppy number. Comfortable in B major. I will try these chords.... Sathya
Nice song selection Thamboo.. One of my fav... Nice to see old songs after a long time gap... Will try it out...
well nice song selection! sounds familiar to Hindi classic "Jeena Yahan Marna Yahan" a little bit at the starting.
Nice work Thamboo! here's my interpretation of the song.. Thank you Jimi; I still have to refine my ear training went totally wrong with C#7 and G#7 as suddenly that point goes out of the song's scale jumping to C# note and F# note I will make sure I will follow the bass notes
F#dim7 is (F# A C D#) and the next chord I used was just a change of 1 note from F# to G and got Cm6 (C Eb G A) Am6 is (A C E F#) and you got it by moving the D# note in (F#dim7) to E to get Am6 I will check and get back on this
at 'naan arindhaalum adhu kooda' melody goes like 'd# ....a.a.g..'(i.e. G3...N2..N2..D1) and 3 notes of Cm6 fits; incidentally they are d#, g and a, i don't here any e and f# note in the melody nearby to fit Am6. To my surprise I also hear Baug chord in first 2 lines in Charanam but very close to the diminished chord; can you please check Jimi?
@thamboo I have edited the chords pls check it again.. yes there is Baug chord in the charanam. Iam sure that iam not hearing any Cm6 chord.
Nice work Jimi; the most paining part is the feeble sound of instruments and the snare nearly made sure to make it impossible to bring out the chords during the charanams; interludes are fine
