Hi guys. I found one Clariton make semi acoustic guitar at "AWAJ" pune. The price is 5400/- Rs.
It has inbuilt tuner and equalizer. Please give your opinion on this.

Or please suggest any other Semi acoustic guitar.

    How much is ur budget??

Somehow Semi Acoustic low end guitars are dead sounding when u play them without plugging in....Rather go with somthing like Walden, Takamine, Fender which are in the range of 10 - 20K(Semi acoustic)..

No doubt, Takamine is best if budget is not an issue.

Thanks guys...i'll check if Takamine is available and budget also.
Also some friends suggested Granada....what do you say...
And is inbuilt digital tuner really helpful???? because it will add to cost.....

@ Kiran, Takamine is used professionally around the world. The rates are pretty higher, I think 20-25K. Granada, you can get a decent one for 5K. Plan according to your budget. But if you are buying a big budget guitar, don't just buy based on brand name, go to store, do your research, hold many guitars and play and see how comfortable you are, ensure correct action. Sometimes, a 5K guitar may come up good. In Hyderabad currently, I am looking for a guitar, a budget one, not exceeding 4K and a value for money. I was able to find a few including Granada, Givson, Jimm and Clayton brands. Once you have your guitar, ensure action is low before buying and replace the strings with something like 'Elixir' or some good ones if you wish to.

Inbuilt digital tuner, are you referring to Electric-Acoustic guitars? In my opinion, an inbuilt tuner isn't that important and you can always get a separate external tuner which will cost around 100Rs. The manual tuning method is easier once you know how the low 'E' sounds.

I love Walden guitars for their warm tone...I wud definitely prefer these over Takamine in 15 - 20 range.

And better would be to get a separate tuner. Dont go for the ones built inside...

Walden Semi Acoustic wud cost around 15 - 17K.

If you have an apple or android phone, there are many free digital tuning apps available and eliminates the need to buy separate or inbuilt tuners.
