Hello, I am currently looking for a female vocalist to form an acoustic duo. A little about me: I am in my 30s and have been playing guitar for many years. I play acoustic, electric and most recently, classical. Here are some artists I like: Alanis Morisette, Dido, Mazzy Star, Nouvelle Vague, Sophie Zelmani, The Cranberries. About you: You need to have a passion for music and singing. I would prefer someone who is serious. I'm not asking for 24/7 365 days a year, but someone who can dedicate time and ideas to this project. If you play guitar as well, that would be a plus, but not necessary. While original compositions are welcome, I'd like to focus on playing songs by various artists. We can cover genres which are good for acoustic interpretation - alternative, easy listening, folk, indie, jazz, pop/rock. If you are interested, send me a message. Let me know what music you're into and which of the artists on my list you're familiar with or enjoy. Thank you, and hope to hear from you!
Hi I'm a female vocalist in my thirties too and love alternative music. From your list I recognize The cranberries and Alanis Morisette, both of whom I love. I have been at a sore loss for a guitarist since I came to this city so haven't been able to do music much.I do play the guitar a bit( you know what that means GCD..LOL), I'm from west bengal(Darjeeling) and would love to discuss further about this arrangement if you are interested.

Hi Darkpool, I visited this ad just now, after ages! There wasn't any reply for months, so I stopped checking here. I see your response is a few months old already. I sent you a PM. If you're still interested, let me know. Ciao!
