Picking Rasmus/LP shows musical maturity... if you're 12.

Yeah, u cud hv better said of...
System, disturbed (hard rock, among the newer ones)
    Marilyn manson (alternative)
    Children of bodom (death metal)....
These r bands that leave n impression....

Greenday, lp, rasmus... Dats all wt beginners listen to in case they pik up newer popular things rather den the classics author hs told... Dey r gud of course but Dats nt maturity nyhw.... And newys... If anyone gets intersted in death metal, i'll strongly recommend possessed (album- seven churches), n obituary... These bands laid the foundation of death metal n seperated it frm thrash... Fr newer death metal, COB.... N try listening to manson if u can tolerate him... Just a few gud ones frm him....

oh come on augur you always seem like you're the damp squib around...LP and Rasmus arent that bad you know...you'll realize it when you start composing music yourself that its difficult to even do the simple sounding what you call "juvenile" music...give them some credit...
and what linkin park has done is quite radical. They are slowly shifting their focus to more meaningful music if you have heard Minutes to Midnight(whole album) you'll understand

Who said that I don't 'compose' music myself? Just because I don't post anything here means I can't even play the B chord......?

LP plays on cartoon network. I rest my case.

For Post-grunge/Alternative my pick "+Live+". suggested albums - Awake: The Best of Live (Compilation Album) and Throwing Copper.
