u can go for seymour duncans , emg's or dimarizio pickups...they would no doubt improve the tone of ur guitar considerably but.....what is the guitar that ur trying to upgrade ? is it worth spending money on?...does it have a decent fret , body?....
I also have a set of Duncans for sale. It's the 59-JB combo, which you will find on higher end guitars like Gibsons. Widely considered as the best after market pickups. https://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Seymour-Duncan-SH1-59-Model-4Conductor-Pickup?sku=300011 https://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Seymour-Duncan-SH4-JB-Humbucker-Pickup?sku=300035 search around for reviews.
Which Guitar do you have? Dont put good pickups on a poorly made guitar. Do the pickups some justice. Its like putting a Ferrari engine in a MAruti 800. Yes you do that and u can make the MAruti run fast but it does no justice to the Engine. Same with the pickups. Get my point?
@SAM As most of them have suggested you that you shld not invest in the pickups if you have a really low end guitar... If you have a decent guitar then you can upgrade it to good humbucking pickups which will take care of extra noise tht your normal pickup will make while playing with distortion, as well as give you a good tone.. You can upgrade to semyour duncans, Emg, Di marzio all these are good pickups and will start from 4.5k ..Depending upon the sound you want you can make a choice from the different pickups available... Installation is not so easy but if you are little bit good with electronics then you can refer to installation guide supplied with the pickups, else get it to our store Sb music where we sell this pickups and install it for free if you buy from us.. contact@sbmusicstore.com
