Last night at around 3 am, the dogs outside my house started barking like crazy. I lay and bore it for about 10 mins after which I went to the window to yell at them and noticed that they were barking at a point in particular and sort of running about and barking again. It reminded me of how dogs are supposed to be able to see spirits and somehow creeped me out. The dogs kept barking but I managed to fall asleep.

So does anybody here believe in ghosts or have real personal experiences to share (They shouldn't be things that have happened to brother's friends or friends' brothers...there are way too many stories of that kind).

The one thing that I always remember is looking at the window pane and seeing something standing behind me....straight out of a horror flick. I could have imagined it.

Trust me dude. I was in Goa and after failing to get accommodation this one place was available of which I had a strange feeling. We rented the bikes after the rooms and as I was entering the building (2 floors), this dog was staring at me with a really unusual look. I am usually too stiff to be shaken by ghosts/darkness etc. but that look in the dog's eye.

Anyway. I got on with the trip and at night when we got the drinks, That dog always stares me. I had a bad feeling about the dog.

Anyway it was around 1:30 am and there was a shortage of glasses so I said I'll get them. No one was there. I had to go down to check the guy out where I saw the Dog sitting next to the gate. Staring.
I found the guy and he took me backside. As he was opening the lock of the store room, I turned around only to notice that the Dog has followed me to the backside and staring at me from the corner. I freaked out and entered the store. After finding the glass, I allowed him to lock and lead me back so that he faces the dog first. Normally I chase away dogs with ease but this time I was too freaked to do it. He chased the dog away .. and the dog even while running looks back at me .. as if he's gonna come back for some sorta revenge.

As we turned around 2 walls the dog pounced on the wall out of nowhere and freaking the shit out of me. I stepped back and the guy shooed him off. I went upstairs and stood in the balcony. He just doesn't stop staring me.

I told the guys what happened and they're laughing their asses out. They claimed I'm drunk. I wasn't.

I can never forget that dog. I know this is stupid shit but there was something bout that dog. The way he stared at me .. the eyes.

Lol. I know it sounds stupid and made up but it's real and the dog was scary.

@angel_of_sin: It gave me thoughts that the Dog might be possessed or something by someone?
Does it have something to do with ghosts now?
I think you should stop watching Ramsay serials and wear a thinking cap.

You can never know, because we'll never have an unbiased human mind. All mind over matter methinks.

We went to the Greyfriar's Cemetery, home to the infamous Black Mausoleum. The guide told us creepy stories about the jail warden, and torture and stuff. Anyway long story short we were supposed to walk in around 2 oak trees and walk out between them. This one lady didn't and she got punched in the stomach by nothing. Whatever may have happened that night, I know for a fact that Most Haunted is a rigged show.

And yes, Stephen King. The man is a god.

Remember the time we were in the science lab and the new microscope's had come in? You were the happiest person in the lab as you could finally see your wee wee. That's when.

To answer your second question: I like it big. So no.

hmm, I'm curious as to how you know for a fact about Most Haunted. Not that I ever thought it wasn't rigged but I couldn't be certain.

This is what Wiki has to say, if it helps this thread.

"On several occasions the former "psychic medium" Derek Acorah was purportedly possessed by an entity, sometimes evil or sometimes "lost and confused". One such case which exposed Acorah was at Bodmin Gaol, Cornwall. Before the filming, Acorah had been fed misinformation about a non-existent ghost of Kreed Kafer by the show parapsychologist Dr. Ciaran O' Keeffe. During the investigation, which was later broadcast, he presented the information as fact and even behaved as though being possessed by the fictional ghost. O'Keeffe later revealed Kreed Kafer is an anagram of 'Derek Faker' in a national newspaper. Even though O' Keeffe exposed Acorah, the paper also claimed that O' Keeffe had exposed the rest of the Most Haunted team. O'Keeffe later reported that he had been grossly misquoted and misrepresented in the article, and produced a response outlining his version of the show based on his observations and findings, saying he had exposed Derek Acorah and not the entirety of Most Haunted. The show's presenter and executive producer, Yvette Fielding said in an interview that she believes it was a fake possession.

Although not mentioned by O'Keeffe, the Mirror article also brought into question unedited footage which appeared to show Fielding and Karl Beattie faking 'paranormal' occurrences such as ghostly bumps and knocks. Fielding denied the claims. Thus far none of this footage has come to light.

Further controversy centred on Derek Acorah again in the West Country, this time in Devon. On the first night filming "Terror in Torbay", Acorah mentioned a woman incarcerated by her jealous sister in the cellar of Lupton House, even coming up with the names Margaret and Eleanor. In this case, the facts were right, but the location was wrong. This is the well-known legend of Berry Pomeroy Castle which was to be the last night's location. On the final night, at Berry Pomeroy, Fielding reminded Acorah that he had mentioned the incarcerated sister two nights prior. Acorah glossed over his mistake and changed the subject.

An investigation was ordered by the Television Regulator in the UK, Ofcom, in which Most Haunted was cleared of any deception of its viewers, in which it stated that "Most Haunted is an entertainment show, not a legitimate investigation into the paranormal, and should not be taken seriously.""

They're all the same. You rarely ever get anything on tape. I would definitely like to visit Bhangarh though, if the stories about the place are true.

Well ghosts or no ghosts I know OOBEs are very real. And they're pretty awesome too.
