I would say.. within the price range it is the best sounding Guitar for a Beginner.. Although it does not have a Pickup, however most guitars with a pickup in this range don't sound too good... It's beter if you get a pickup installed in case you wish to use this with an amp at home or stage...

I would have invested in a good amp first.. cuz of the budget we are only considering solid state or hybrid amps.. Never go for cheap Amps.. Also a lot on deciding the amp depends on the music you play. SO it's always better if you can try the amp before buying it to see which sounds best to...

With that budget u definately can get a great guitar but the pickups arent goin to be that great. I hv had some great reviews about pluto but they didnt sound good to me. I would have invested in a Yamaha F310 which sounds awesome for it's price and difficult to beat, and get a great sounding...
