Sorry, I think I mistook u and thought you were asking about the MT-2.

The HM-2 I got from a friend of mine who thought its gain range is pretty useless... It is iconic for its role Swedish Death Metal but its almost a one trick pony. Its not too modern sounding and the tone is not treble heavy. Good for tight rhythm tones.

I guess I got it from Soundglitz, Bangalore. You can check it out at most music stores as it is amongst the most popular stomp boxes from Boss.

I would recommend that you try it on a similar setup to your own in a store before buying because it works well for some crude modern sounds but not for more refined and cleaner/cutting sounds. I get a very good Slipknot tone out of it for artists like Slipknot, Lamb of God, InFlames etc where excessive tight gain is required.
