I am using a peter periera custom guitar. I am not quite happy with the pickups. They sound pretty good on the clean channel bt sucked when turned on to distortion. They sounded cranky with sum really poor distortion. I am using a Roland Cube 15X ampli and Boss ME 20. To check the pickups I plugged the guitar directly into the amp and tried all sorts of EQ settings but dint work. I want to change my pickups bt before that I would really like to check whether its a fault of ampli or processor. Is there any other way to check that??...
