I am trying to confirm this chords. Can someone please help me? I thank you in advance for your kind help Siva Chinniah
I modified the chords. I think it is fairly close to the original. I would appreciate if someone can verify it.
. Hi Siva Chinniah. It's is generally quite hard to pickup the background chords and other notes in old songs. This song is no different. This is what I can hear. Bb, 4/4 Naan (Bb)Malarodu (Eb)Thaniyaaga (Bb)Yen Ingu Nindren En (Eb)Magarani (F7)Unai Kaan (Eb)Oadodi (Bb)Vanden Nee (Bb)Illaamal (F7)Yarodu Uravaada (Bb)Vanden Un (F7)Illamaikku Thunaiyaga (Eb)Thaniyaaga (Bb)Vanden Nee (Bb)Varugindra vazhimeethu yaar unnai kandaar Un (F7)Valai konjum Kaimeethu (Bb)parisenna thanthar Un (Bb)Malar koonthal (F7)Alai paaya (Bb)Avar Enna Sonnaar Un (F7)Vadivaana Ithazh meethu (Eb)Suvai Enna (Bb)Thanthaar Rajesh
Hi Dr. Rajesh Your chord work is super amazing. You are surely highly talented and a musical prodigy. In my opinion, if you had pursued a career in music rather than radiology, you would have been in par with great musicians like Mozart and Beethoven. I simply cannot find the right words to express my sincere gratitude to you. Not only you are brilliant in your accuracy of your chords, you also went out of the way to help me out who you hardly know. You are simply the best and the greatest living person and a fantastic musician I ever came across in my life! Siva Chinniah
I completely agree Siva. The 2 persons that I hugely respect in terms of the Music knowledge and attention to detail in this Forum are - Rajesh and Kishmu. I am happy that one of the Legends (Roentgen) is still actively contributing to this group but little sad that Kishmu is not active for a long time in this group. Yet, his posts are an absolute treasure to save. Kishmu oda post ellam instrument-wise potu, Chords ellaam chummaa pirichu menjiruppaaru. From his posts only, I really knew the name of the instruments used. I still wonder, how he was able to identify the instruments and the complex chords accurately by just hearing the sound. I particularly learnt plethora of new chords from the songs that these 2 legends have posted in this Forum. I still personally request chords and BGM notes to Roentgen and he kindly fulfills my request within few days. He is a master of perfection. I have asked him many times his secret behind his accurate chords, aana avaru ippo varaikkum sollavey maatengaraaru Ennamo solli samaalikkaraaru Kind regards, Vijay
Hi Rajesh, Please re-post the thread if you can find it. At least I will try to attempt. Kind regards, Vijay
Hi Rajesh, Thank you very much indeed for re-posting this thread. I read your lengthy post and every word makes sense. But, even to apply your technique, requires a deeper level of knowledge in Chords (at least for me ). For example, in your last paragraph, you mentioned as "An A bass note and G# note within the same bar usually indicates AM7". So, for this I should be able to 1st identify the notes of a Chord. Though I play most complex chords comfortably in Guitar, like if someone says - Dm6 or Am7 or Cm7 or Eb+ (Eb Aug) or C-dim etc... I can instantly hold it in my Guitar (both Open and Barre Chords of the same Chord) and play without even thinking but I have never analyzed the individual notes that form the chord. I have also tried the chords from Chordify, ChordU sites for a IR song by giving the same YouTube link in both sites. The chords generated by these 2 sites of the same song are different. Probably, they use different AI engines. More importantly, they are nowhere closer to your perfect Chords. There is a huge deviation. I have also tried downloading Sonic Visualizer as suggested by a similar post like yours by Senthil (Guitarsen) below: https://indianguitartabs.com/chords/threads/chords-for-any-song-do-it-yourself.56705/#post-463409 And the chords from this Application also is not accurate. So, this proves that the only way to get more accurate chords is using your strategy. But, your amazing strategy will be challenging (for me) in order to identify the chords. Is there any way to bypass this please? Kind regards, Vijay
