Akilan - I am hearing G# Minor. Also the song should have multiple chords. I can see at least 7 / 8 chord changes.

The music is by Veda, I think. There is also a lovely Hindi number in the same tune. I think Hindi is the original - May be wrong.

You are absolutely right. There is a wide variation of chords. When I showed it to some of my friends they asked for further simplifications. That gave me great trouble. This is what I ended up with,

Is there some guideline on the choice of the pitch because i thought it sounds more close to the voice pitch in these notes.
