This song needs no introduction and explanation..... The evergreen super hit number of IR.

Can someone please put the chords for this number?

In the net I saw the mentioning of F Minor chord. I am not sure.

I tried, but I am 100% sure that there are more suspended chords at many places.

The plain chords do not give the required feel.

Here is the song.............. Agaya Gangai from Dharma Yutham - YouTube

You will hear a fantastic melody, music and see the cutest Thalaivar and Sridevi......

    This song is in Madhyamavathi raga notes - 5 notes only - s r2 m1 p n2 S.

It is difficult to play the melody due to more semitone / gamakam oriented notes. But certainly chords can be tried.

Requesting the experts to pen down the chords for this fantastic number........... Sathya

Because of this raga and the use of suspended chords in other songs - Otherwise, I have not come up to the level of identifying this variation. I think E sus4 should do well. I am not sure. Jimi - Can you confirm this? This song's BGM is o/s one. Very light melody & worth trying out........... Sathya

Thanks Senthil and Jimi. I tried and I was playing this from 6.30 pm today and I could get E Minor quite well. Also I am aware that the suspended chords start somewhere after the start. The song starts perfectly with E Minor. Thanks a lot once again. I really enjoyed my practice today............ Sathya

Thanks Senthil, Jimi, Sathya. Beautiful song and chords.
I have observed Kishmu's rendition is so all encompassing i.e., includes all the instruments and their contribution to the song.
I don't even know what most of these instruments are.
Thanks to these chords transcription, by way of listening, trying to understand how these instruments sound.
